Peter Jonathan “Pete” Lund was born in Virginia, but grew up just outside Buffalo, New York in a little place called Snyder. Pete played drums for most of his teen years, before guitar/bass and songwriting took over in 1990. He “studied” at Fredonia State College for a spell after high school, later earning his degree in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Masters in English Education from Buffalo State College. Pete has been a public school teacher in Buffalo for over fifteen years.
Pete was born with Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) — “a very rare and potentially life-threatening genetic condition that occurs in about 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 50,000 people.” This, and more information about HAE, can be found here.
When he is not singing, songwriting, or recording, Pete enjoys photography and writing poetry, short stories, and comedy. Motorcycling is another pursuit of happiness for him, after the snow clears. Pete lives in Western New York with his girlfriend, Tara, their three dogs, and one large-and-in-charge cat.
